San Francisco (Oct 25, 2021) — Intento today announced an integration with Verint® (Nasdaq: VRNT), The Customer Engagement Company™. The company’s Intento Translator technology is now integrated with the Verint Community™ solution, providing instant translation to community and forum users across the globe.
Intento Translator for Verint Community™ makes community and self-service portals ready-to-use for global audiences, enabling community users to translate portal contents into their own languages on the fly. Intento’s Smart Routing feature directs translation requests to the Machine Translation (MT) models that are most suitable for content-specific domain and language pairs, ensuring that the user is getting the most accurate and reliable translation. This feature completely removes language barriers from any given context, allowing Verint Community users to hold conversations with anyone, anywhere in the world in real-time while remaining confident that their communications are coming through accurately.
This integration comes at a time when the need for sensitive, inclusive, and respectful global communication is highly pronounced, and Intento’s MT ecosystem meets these demands with features like tone of voice and gender bias control, entity protection, pseudonymization, profanity filtering, and more. Intento Translator helps ensure the conversations on the Verint Community platform adhere to the highest communication standards.
“Enhancing Verint Community with Intento Translator helps our customers improve engagement across multiple languages and time zones, increases the value and reach of user-generated content, and fosters higher levels of peer-to-peer support and self-service,” says Verint’s Jon Allen, vice president and general manager, Communities and Web Self-Service.
“Community content enables users to solve their problems without reaching out to expensive first-line customer service. However, this can fail fast when you enter new markets — there’s no community content available in the local language, so all support traffic goes to agents, increasing call volumes and resulting in higher demand on the contact center,” said Intento CEO, Konstantin Savenkov. “Our customers solve those challenges with Machine Translation when local users can leverage the wisdom of the global crowd. We ensure translation quality by using the best-fit, custom-tailored MT portfolio. Using on-the-fly translation enables our clients to save on pre-translation, with additional savings available via clever MT caching technology.”
Matt Nevill, Customer Community Manager, Agilent Technologies, Inc., a global manufacturing company, says that “Intento’s Verint CommunityTM plugin is the perfect solution to address our critical need for translating content to our customers worldwide. It fits seamlessly into our website, meets our security requirements, and is incredibly flexible.”
Intento Translator is now available to Verint customers and partners on the Verint Marketplace.
